BlacKkKlansman
This movie was absolutely phenomenal!!! It was witty, fun, charming, and everything you want in a film. At times it presented itself as a serious biopic, but was able to present itself as a comedy as well. BlacKkKlansman is a movie on a true story about the life of Ron Stallworth, the first Black cop in Colorado Springs. In the face of adversity, he takes on a case, to infiltrate the KKK with his partner. He ends up not only infiltrating them, but taking a Polaroid with the members and grand wizard. I love how this film is both funny, but thought provoking. It makes you draw connections between back then and today, are we really that different? What has changed since back then? Does history really repeat itself? The movie itself was very nicely shot movie, I have no complaints about any coloring or camera work because I honesty don't there isn't anything special or groundbreaking about it.
