Us

Us was a great movie you have no idea. I love how the story and the plot connected from the beginning and all the way to the end. Us is basically about a family who goes to their beach home on vacation and end up being nearly killed by their doppelgängers that's been secretly underground. Of course, the family gets out safely and live on their lives-- but the audience finds out that the mom the WHOLE time was actually the doppelgänger and got switched out at an early age. See, throughout the movie you ask yourself questions on why certain things are happening, and to be honest I didn't even realize it. I just thought I was just looking way too into it, but it turned out my overthinking was spot on! I would also like to add that Jordan Peele did a crazy camera angle in here that Lowkey reminded me of you and I know if you saw it you'd totally geek out, because I did for sure.

This movie I would say is definitely not scarier than Get Out, but is more of a social horror film to see how  our society would react in a situation. Which, is no less scary, but more scary to fathom the concept. I am sure once I rewatch the movie everything will start clicking, and I absolutely love movies that make you think and that have deeper meanings and symbols to decipher. I rate this movie a 8.6/10
